The official website has been updated with a chunk of new info and screenshots, including reiteration that the game started out as a bit of a lore prequel for Black Desert as we suspected, “but during development Pearl Abyss added more unique and original elements to Crimson Desert that gives the game entirely new lands, narratives, and characters.” We were worried we wouldn't be able to book a room cause we called just 3-4 hours from the time of our intended stay but good thing we were able to! The staffs' service did not disappoint and their hospitality made us feel at home.So, other than MOP’s Carlo (who’s absolutely losing his mind over the game), who’s hyped for Pearl Abyss’ Crimson Desert? Because the Korean mega-studio is cranking up the ol’ hype machine for the upcoming MMORPG, which it announced just a month ago at G-Star. Also, me and my husband are very thankful to miss Aizel Sacno for accomodating us throughout our whole stay in the resort. The food was great too and my husband especially loved the oatmeal at the breakfast section haha. We already went to crimson 3 months prior to the trip and had a really great time there which was why we decided to just spend our whole trip there for our honeymoon and we definitely did not regret it! The staffs were very nice and we greatly appreciate how they treat and accomodate their guests. We actually just got married 3 days prior and then we decided to spend our honeymoon in Crimson. Me and my husband had a very memorable and enjoyable stay in Crimson last July 9-16. Crimson is a bit tucked away from everything, which means transport can be a bit of an issue at times (either by getting a taxi or calling a Grab), but that would be the only real grain that would be sticking out from an otherwise relaxing and perfect holiday experience. Selection of food is great and the Indian head chef has managed to introduce tasty curries to the menu. Part of Crimson was badly hit by Odette, but the staff has managed to keep this damaged vibe and the ongoing construction well away from the guests. Since I am vegetarian and one morning the veggie selection was a bit slim at the desk, the chef just cooked up some maki rolls and pancit especially for us (we asked for alternatives at other resorts and would usually have to pay). From all the resorts, Crimson was the only hotel that offered soya milk as an alternative to normal milk (my wife is lactose intolerant). We really felt home! The staff is always ready to go the extra mile, regardless whether it is in the restaurants (they setup a 50 year birthday party for my sister in law almost overnight), reception or transport desk.

From all the resorts we spend time (total of 4 in different parts of Cebu, Bohol and Northern Mindanao), Crimson certainly was the best in regards to level of service. I can certainly see why Crimson Mactan has been rated as Traveler's Choice for 2022. My wife and I just returned from a 3 week trip around the Visaya's.
